2月のテーマは接続詞 発言の流れを作る
👉２月は、1月に引き続き接続詞ついて学習します。
Lesson 201 主要接続詞⑤：when
Opening で
Roza
▶︎ Hey, everyone. Akino Roza here.
Chris
▶︎ Hi, guys. Chris McVay here. Roza, I get nervous when I’m in the studio.
Roza
▶︎ Why’s that? Just relax and be yourself.
Chris
▶︎ I’ll try! I’ll try!
Dialogue で
① We’re both in the same class.
👉さあ、We’re both … both がこの位置に出てきましたね。普通の位置です。
しっかりと覚えてみて下さいね。both は「２つのうちの両方」という表現です。
② We’re just friends.
👉さあ、We’re just friends, という文が出てきましたね。
just は「ピッタリ」という表現です。「友達と言うにはピッタリ」つまり
「ただの友達」というわけです。
③ That’s fine.
👉さあ、fine のイメージを思い出して下さい。「にごりがない」「スッキリ」
それがイメージでしたね。ここでは「問題はありません」と言う意味で
「それでいいわ」というわけですね。
④ What do you talk to her about □?
👉そして次の文、about の後ろに空所□がありましたね。
What do you talk to her about □? 「何について」- ここで
聞いているわけです。
⑤ I haven’t really talked to her a lot yet.
👉さあ、yet が出てきましたね。「まだ終わっていない」「未完」を表す単語です。
「私は彼女とたくさんは話してはいません」「まだだよ」という感じでくっついて
います。

From today we’re going to look at some common linking words.
And we will begin with “when.” It’s very easy, and it basically indicates
the time something happens, – past, future, present, whenever.
