👉３月は、２月に引き続き流れ「フロー」についての学習です。

譲歩の表現▶︎ 代表的な接続詞は although [though]
※ if もよく使われる「もし〜であっても」と譲歩の意味合いで使われる

Dialogue で

① That’s obvious, but you can’t do it by yourself.
👉さあ、ここの obvious という単語、これはもちろん「明らか」と訳されるわけ
ですけれども、「まあ、見ればわかる」「自明だよ」そうした感触の単語です。

② What do you mean?
👉相手の真意をただす What do you mean?
しっかりと覚えて下さい。

③ Whether you need one or not, she is coming here on Sunday.
👉 she is coming もちろん、この進行形は「未来の予定」を表しています。

Practice

Let’s practice some expressions of “譲歩” where the situations remains
the same. OK. Here we go!
・I don’t care if you love someone else.
OK. So I don’t care, therefore you know, the situation will remain the same.
Nothing will stop it.
OK. A couple more like that.
・I don’t care if you have no money.
And the last one.
・I don’t care if you can’t speak Japanese.
